Next year, DJ SHIMZA will open a second restaurant, he has said.
The only information provided to the DJ’s 1.6 million Twitter followers on the restaurant’s future location was that it would open in 2019.
He penned,
“I intend to open a second @thehangawt in 2023.”
Since then, the post has received over 50,000 views and thousands of comments. Some responded by suggesting potential locations for the establishment’s next site. Florida Street in Durban, Rustenberg, or Limpopo were the top three ideas.
Other Twitter users advised the DJ to calm down. They stated that his declaration came at the worst possible time, since they were in the midst of mourning the death of Kwaito star Mampintsha, who had passed away hours before Shimza’s tweet about his new year’s resolutions.
