In Leeds, a one-year-old child has died after being struck by a car.
Friday around 8:10 p.m., West Yorkshire Police were summoned to an address on Coupland Road. They responded to a report of a child being struck by a vehicle in a driveway.
Emergency personnel responded to the incident, and the one-year-old daughter was transported to the hospital. Sadly, she died of her injuries in the hospital.

The Major Collision and Inquiry Team is continuing its investigation, and specialized officers are assisting the family.
West Yorkshire Police stated, “Police were dispatched to an address on Coupland Road, Leeds, at around 8:10 p.m. on Friday, September 16 in response to an allegation that a one-year-old child sustained significant injuries in a driveway incident with a car.” Emergency personnel responded to the site, and a little child was sent to the hospital.
Unfortunately, the child died shortly thereafter due to her injuries. Investigations continue today by the Major Collision and Enquiry Team, and specialised officers are assisting the family during this difficult time.’
