Former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s Call for Gender Equality in Leadership
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed his belief that Nigeria is ready to have a female President in order to foster growth and align with developed nations.
Obasanjo, a former leader of Nigeria, emphasized the need to give women the opportunity to lead the country after decades of male leadership since independence.
He made these remarks during the 5th edition of the Egba Dialect Debate and Choral Competition for Secondary Schools in Ogun Central Senatorial District, held in Abeokuta.
