Legal Battle Escalates as Rudy Giuliani Faces $1.4 Million Lawsuit Over Unpaid Fees
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is entangled in yet another legal dispute as his long-time friend and attorney, Robert Costello, joins a lawsuit seeking $1.4 million in unpaid legal fees.
Giuliani, represented by Robert Costello and the law firm Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP, is alleged to have paid only $214,000, leaving a substantial outstanding balance of $1.36 million.
The lawsuit reveals that Giuliani’s most recent payment, $10,000, was made on September 14, shortly after a high-priced fundraiser for him, hosted by Donald Trump at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club.
The legal fees primarily stem from Giuliani’s efforts to contest the results of the 2020 presidential election and keep Donald Trump in office.
