Jordan denied providing the photographs to anybody outside of the sheriff’s and fire departments, but at times looked confused about the events.

The former firefighter repeatedly told the court he does not “actually recall being at the accident” and does not “recall what was up there.”

Bryant’s attorney, Luis Li, inquired as to why the laptop he turned over lacked a hard drive, to which Jordan responded that he was ignorant.

Jordan said, “I have no idea,” adding, “I did not modify any gadgets.”

According to Law and Crime, when asked whether he had photographed Gianna Bryant’s remains, he said, “I don’t even know who that is.”

He said, ‘I have no idea what I was shooting. I’m here due to false accusations, so please prevent from bringing my mind back to that accident. Jordan stated that former deputy chief Anthony Marrone, who has served as acting head since August 1 of this year, instructed him to snap the photographs.

Jordan said that he and Marrone were standing on a stairway when the command was made.

Jordan said, “Perhaps I should have been disobedient that one time.” In an August 2020 sworn statement, Marrone denied asking Jordan to take photographs.

He said that he had advised everyone not to photograph any accident victims since doing so would neither be right nor proper.

Vanessa Bryant is suing both the fire department and the sheriff’s office for undisclosed damages.

The trial is anticipated to extend one additional week.
