Flown-in immigrants accuse Ron DeSantis of “exploiting” them


A group of unlawful migrants that Ron DeSantis sent to Martha’s vineyard are suing the Florida governor for allegedly exploiting them.

The plaintiffs allege the governor trapped them in a ‘premeditated, fraudulent, and illegal scheme centered on exploiting [the migrants] for the sole purpose of advancing their own personal, financial and political interests.’

DeSantis arranged for 50 migrants to be flown out to Martha’s Vineyard, a wealthy island off Massachusetts last week, in a move that set off a firestorm in the political war over immigration.
