Florida road rage shoots five- and 14-year-old children

Following a weekend road rage episode in which both dads shot their pistols out the windows of their automobiles, striking each other’s daughters, both have been charged with attempted murder.

Shelby Allison, the 14-year-old daughter of Frank Allison, was shot in the back by William Hale, 35, of Douglas, Georgia, resulting in a collapsed lung.

Hale’s five-year-old daughter was shot in the leg by Allison, a 43-year-old from Callahan, Florida.

The Nassau County Sheriff, Bill Leeper, criticized both dads for their folly in what a witness described as a high-speed game of “cat and mouse” even though both daughters are likely to live.

What could be spookier than one insane gun-toting driver? Two insane drivers carrying guns,’ Leeper said on Monday.

Thank goodness, nobody was hurt or killed in this tragedy.

But since two individuals were behaving foolishly and letting their tempers get the better of them, it might have very easily turned out that way. Due to the stupidity of two mature men, there may have been two dead children.

On U.S. Highway 1 in Callahan, just outside of Jacksonville, the event started at 6 o’clock.

Near his house, Hale was operating a black Dodge Ram with his mother Britney and four other passengers inside.

Allison was traveling home to Georgia in a gray Nissan Murano with three passengers, including his wife Jessica and daughter Shelby.

Both guys accused the other of driving recklessly and “brake checking.”

The Hale family tossed a water bottle into Jessica Allison’s car after she cranked down the window and started making rude gestures at the Hale vehicle.

While driving, Frank Allison fired fire, thinking he had collided with the Hales’ tires, but in reality, he had struck the girl.

Hale returned fire, injuring Allison’s daughter who was inside the moving car with one of the seven or eight shots he fired.

On a 911 call, the mother of one of the shot children can be heard.

Please assist me, she begs in the words “My daughter was shot.”

On the phone, you can also hear a youngster crying.

According to News4Jax, the toddler can be heard crying, “I don’t want to die.”

Both drivers kept driving north while carrying their wounded daughters in the rear.

The two stopped when they saw a police vehicle from the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office. They then started yelling and fighting on the side of the road, and the deputy had to break up the fight.

The two were charged with attempted murder and lodged in prison.
