Fleetwood Mac’s complex history is now documented

Fleetwood Mac’s complex history has been well-documented in books, documentaries, and TV shows, including the recently adopted limited series of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s novel, Daisy Jones & The Six, which tells a fictionalized version of the band’s story.

The show’s faux-documentary style is mostly set in the 1970s and features an ensemble cast with varying levels of fame. Unfortunately, the wigs used in the series have been criticized for their poor quality, with some characters’ hairpieces looking unconvincing and distracting.

The show’s lead actors, Sam Claflin and Riley Keough, have struggled with their respective wigs, while Suki Waterhouse has fared better due to her punky style. Lesser-known actors, such as Will Harrison and Josh Whitehouse, have also faced challenges with their wigs. However, reviews of the show have focused less on the wigs and more on the performances and music.

One notable exception is Timothy Olyphant’s character, tour manager Rod Reyes, whose wig has received a great deal of attention and criticism on social media.

Olyphant, who is known for his great hair, is almost unrecognizable in the show due to his wig. Despite this distraction, Daisy Jones & The Six remains an enjoyable diversion for those who appreciate the music and the actors’ performances.
