Oluremi Tinubu, the first lady of Nigeria, has called for an upward review of the number of women occupying leadership positions in the country.

Her remarks were made during a book launch event organized by Mrs. Salamatu Yahaya, wife of the Chief of Army Staff, titled “Strengthening the NAOWA Narrative.”

Represented by Senator Nora Daduut, Mrs. Tinubu highlighted the need to increase the number of women in leadership positions.
She expressed her belief that the book being launched would greatly enrich the lives of not only members of the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA) but also women across Nigeria.
