The Federal High Court in Kano has issued an order to halt the ongoing demolition exercise conducted by the state government under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The court, presided over by Justice S.A. Amobeda, granted the order on Friday in response to an ex-parte motion filed by Saminu Muhammad, a Kano indigene, through his lawyer, Prof. Nasiru Aliyu (SAN).
