PR superstar Savannah Engel, whose clients include luxury brands Markarian and PatBO, was pictured hustling during New York Fashion Week while hobbling on an injured ankle.
Engel, who has been seen on crutches escorting clients such as socialite Ivy Getty and designer Alexandra O’Neill to events such as a Sak’s bash at the Aman and a Christie’s reception for Andre Leon Talley’s estate, says she “sprained the hell” out of her ankle two weeks ago while waving to someone in the West Village while walking down some stairs.
She told Page Six, “I struck my head, but I think it’s fine.” “Upon awakening, I realized my foot was a mess.”
Engel has not slowed down, dressing celebrities for the Grammy Awards, putting together events, and returning to her office at 3 a.m.
According to Savannah Engel, “the show must go on.”
“I got a spray tan on one leg,” says the affable and well-dressed Engel. She explained, “We got me a fanny pack purse to attach my headphones.” She is unable to use her hands because “I must use my hands to crutch.”
“I place my boot across the Uber, and I must place it on the employee or someone else as often as possible to keep it lifted,” she explains. It has been this entire circumstance.
Engel, who also represents the Silver Linings Lounge at the Moxy East Village, the Georgia Room, Ray’s and Pebble Bar, says that when she met those dreaded stairs this week during a celebrity fitting at the Plaza, “I scooted”

This is not her first injury sustained during fashion week. Five years ago, she injured her leg and was organizing fashion presentations from a hospital bed while on painkillers.
However, she is in good spirits. The production must continue on. This is why we do it: for the rush, the fun, the pandemonium, and the excitement. “We adore fashion, and we practice it,” she stated.
She has also been seen at parties with GC Images client Ivy Getty, a socialite.
Engel will wear a cast for 12 weeks, but he will not take any time off.
She then travels to Milan, Paris, and Los Angeles for the Oscars and the legendary Vanity Fair party before jetting off to additional events.
