European teams are pursuing a South African duo – report

The flanker for the Bulls, Marco van Staden, and the prop for the Sharks, Carlu Sadie, are apparently on the radar of two elite international teams.

Van Staden, who only returned to Pretoria this season following a run with English Premiership club Leicester Tigers, is reportedly being courted by French Top 14 club Bordeaux-Begles.

Additionally, two prominent Springboks could miss the World Cup squad

The Bulls are reportedly anxious to keep the services of the 27-year-old Springbok, according to Rapport, and a source told the Sunday daily, “Ultimately, it will depend on whether he is in the Boks’ plans.”

The 25-year-old Sadie, who was one of numerous offseason acquisitions by the Sharks, is reportedly in negotiations with Scottish club Edinburgh.
