Beginning of Pre-Convocation Registration
Each first-degree graduate will be expected to pay N20,000 to cover the cost of convocation materials, including the rental of academic robes, the order of proceedings, the university scroll, two invitation cards for his/her guests, and convocation mementos. Both the PGD and MSc. Graduands must pay N40,000.00 to cover the cost of convocation materials, including the rental of an academic gown, order of proceedings, university scroll, two invitation cards for his/her guests, and convocation mementos. For convocation materials and the purchase of customised academic gowns, PhD graduates will pay N70,000.
MODE OF PAYMENT
Prior to collecting convocation materials from the relevant Faculty Officer for first-degree grandaunts and the Secretary, Postgraduates School for further degrees, each grandaunt must deposit the prescribed amount into the following bank and acquire a receipt.

REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
All graduates, with the exception of PhD recipients, are required to pay N10,000, which will be repaid upon timely and undamaged return of the academic gown. Faculty Officers are responsible for collecting the name and bank information of each graduate for a refund of the fund upon gown return.
Nota bene: Clearance and Collection of Academic Gowns in the faculties commences.
