Emirates now offers MORE Cape Town flights

Emirates, the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates, decided to increase flight services between Cape Town and Dubai in order to meet the increased demand for travel.

According to sources, the airline reinstated its second daily service from the Mother City on 1 February. Emirates is now confidently returning to pre-pandemic levels of service with the addition of this new service, totaling fourteen flights on the Dubai-Cape Town route.

Additionally, Cathay Pacific will reconnect Johannesburg and Hong Kong.

According to a statement by the airline, the reinstatement of a second daily route to Cape Town demonstrates their commitment to assist inbound tourism and increase trade and business prospects by giving travelers with more access to and from the city.

“The increase in flights across Emirates’ South African gateways is consistent with the airline’s ongoing efforts to support South Africa’s economic recovery by enhancing connectivity across its cities,” Emirates stated.
