EKSU Registration and Screening Process


Ekiti State University, EKSU screening and registration guidelines for newly admitted students for the 2021/22 academic year.

Notify all newly admitted students of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) that the institution’s administration has announced the screening and registration procedures for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Freshman Clearance/Registration Process at EKSU

Students are advised to swiftly adhere to the procedures/guidelines listed below;

Print the EKSU Admission Letter and Authorization to Proceed form.

Proceed to make the proper Acceptance and School Fee payments.

Report to the Admissions office (Academic Affairs Staff office Building) promptly after payment of Acceptance and “School Fees” for listing and result verification with your Admission Letter” and “Authority To Proceed” forms.

After your results have been verified, proceed to your Faculty Officer for screening with your original credentials and Authority To Proceed slip already signed by the Admissions Officers or his agent.

Before you can register at the Faculty Office, you MUST submit “3 COPIES of the following to your Faculty Officer:”

JAMB acceptance letter EKSU acceptance letter Proof of payment for:

Acceptance fee and assigned school expenses for the candidate FULLY PAID
Authority To Proceed slip, duly signed by the appropriate supervisor in the Admissions Office O’level result(s), Diploma/ND results for Direct Entry candidates, Birth Certificate, Certificate of Origin from Local Government Authority, Referee’s letter etc.

Before registration by the Faculty Officer, clearance applications must be signed by the respective department heads.

The distribution of candidate files should be as follows: Office of Academic Affairs, Department of Faculty Screening.

The Faculty Office should perform departmental registration and documentation of pre-screened candidates.
Every online registration should be documented in paper copy.

Any duty delegated by Faculty Officers must be properly and thoroughly supervised.

Newly admitted candidates of Medicine, Nursing Science, and Law will be given Undertaking Forms, which must be completed and returned to their respective Faculties no later than the first week of the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic session.

The original copies of the signed Undertaking Forms should be sent to the Admissions Office no later than the day of Matriculation,

while a photocopy should be preserved in each candidate’s file in their respective Faculty.

Faculty Officers must return the data of all duly registered students to the DR (Senate and Academic Matters) no later than one week prior to the date of matriculation in order for students in their Faculties to be included in the Matriculation Register, which MUST be constituted and submitted to the Registrar no later than 24 hours prior to the date of matriculation. They must utilize the format provided by the DR (SAM)
