Eid Al-Fitr: Nigeria Rescue Movement prays for peace  

As Muslims in Nigeria join the rest of the world to celebrate this years Eid Al-Fitr, the National Rescue Movement (NRM) has felicitated with them and urges them to pray for peace in the country.

The National publicity secretary of the party, Sola Afuye made the call on behalf of the party leadership in Abuja, Nigeria.

“On behalf of the party’s leadership, I urged Muslim faithfuls to pray more for the peace of the country, Eid-Al-Fitr festival, which comes after 30 days of supplication, equips the faithfuls with the needed spiritual strength to approach God for His compassion on the nation,” he said.

Mr. Sola said Muslims should use this period to pray fervently to Allah to forgive our trespasses and help rescue the country and direct leadership on the right part to follow.

“Let us use this solemn time to ask God to end the endless blood-letting in our land and help re-direct our leadership at all levels so they can put the country first in all they do,” he added.

NRM National publicity secretary said that the main aim of the party is to reunite the country adding that honey bee which is the symbol of the party stands for unity and sharing prosperity.

Mr. Sola also use the medium to appeal to Nigerians to vote wisely as NRM is a new dawn for the nation and the resuscitation of hope for the redemption of the country.

Sola said it has pleased God Almighty to give Nigeria a fresh chance at getting it right as the National Rescue Movement have come to rescue Nigeria.
