Police believe a drunken brawl led to the grisly killing of a man who was found disemboweled inside his New York City apartment.

Jose Gonzalez, 35, was identified as the guy found deceased on the fourth floor of his Corona, Queens, apartment building on Tuesday evening.

Gonzalez’s death was discovered by a neighbor, who also happened to be Gonzalez’s landlord, after he went over to the flat to collect rent money.

Gonzalez, who was the father to a teenage son living in Ecuador, was found facedown on his bed and covered in his own blood.

Police suspect that he may have been killed by his new roommate that he shared the space with.

Neighbors told cops that the pair would drink together.

The NYPD detailed how Gonzalez was stabbed in the neck, shoulder, arms and stomach with wounds running so deep his intestines were found hanging out of his body. His face and abdomen were also covered in dried blood.
