The famous yet controversial surgeon performed on two young Australians in Madrid, Spain.

He reportedly worked in Johannesburg and Switzerland.

Since then, the Medical Council of NSW has investigated Dr. Teo’s abroad procedures and plans to contact Spanish authorities.

The NSW Medical Council temporarily restricted Dr. Teo’s licence following concerns about his job and improper behaviour.

Dr. Teo, 64, tried to’save the life’ of Monica Lopresti in Madrid after an MRI revealed a benign cystic tumour in her brain.

Christina Lopresti published an emotional message appreciating Dr. Teo on social media.

‘His warm, loving personality amazed me. Charlie promised to rescue my kid.’

Ms. Lopresti said the family lost a ‘young spouse’ to GBM, a fast-growing brain tumour.

Monica couldn’t be operated on in Australia. Ms. Lopresti answered, “He couldn’t.”

Many people helped us gather money to send Monica to Madrid. True. Madrid.

Christina Lopresti, who described herself as a 'widowed mum', raised $120,760 to fund brain surgery for her daughter, Monica (Pictured above, Ms Lopresti's fundraising page)

“Spain adores him.” They recognise his genius.

Christina Lopresti, a ‘widowed parent,’ collected $120,760 for her daughter’s brain surgery.

Lopresti’s health is unknown.

Dr. Teo operated on a young Melbourne man’s back tumour in July.

His father, Alistair Baldwin, paid Dr. Teo and other neurosurgeons $70,000 to operate on Billy, The Age claimed.

Mr. Baldwin thought the expense was unimportant.

Billy Baldwin’s childhood brain tumour was removed by Dr. Teo.

Billy’s anaplastic ependymoma required palliative care at the time.

He’s 20 and one ear deaf.

Dr Charlie Teo could be set to marry his model partner and former patient, Traci Griffiths, who has been leaving subtle hints on her Instagram page the pair are engaged

After learning Dr. Teo was working abroad, the Medical Council of NSW contacted his insurance.

It may also warn Spanish authorities of Dr. Teo’s medical registration constraints.

The NSW Medical Council decided in August that Dr. Teo must have written approval from a neurosurgeon before conducting some brain tumour surgeries.

‘If the written statement does not support the practitioner doing the procedure(s),’ his registration reads.

Professor Teo claimed the couple’separated almost two years ago but remain great friends’ in 2020.

He validated the doctor’s temporary Spanish visa.

A lady who underwent surgery with Dr. Teo in 2003 said he didn’t remove the tumour and operated on the incorrect side of her brain.

Dr. Teo stated ‘The Mole’ was out to depict him as a’money-hungry sexual predator’ and damage his career.

In September 2019, it was alleged that Dr. Teo instructed a nurse, “when you’re down there…”

The neurosurgeon admits he made the ‘poor joke’ but claimed it was taken out of context and the nurse was like a’sister’ and they often laughed together.

Dr. Teo found love again with a previous patient, Traci Griffiths, a model and vegan champion.

After Ms Griffiths, whom he treated in 2011, was photographed with a ring last year, rumours spread that the world-famous surgeon was engaged to her.

Dr. Teo dismissed the rumours, saying they had no intentions to marry.

Ms Griffiths has posted images with the hashtags ‘#ilovemyfiance’ and ‘#myfiance’
