A DoorDash driver was commended online after confronting a customer who claimed not to have received her order, putting his job at risk.
The incident was filmed by Yung Tuci, who goes by the username @yungtuci, and later posted on TikTok, where it gained more than 2.2 million likes.
In the video, Tuci goes to the woman’s workplace after delivering food to her and finding out she had told the company that she hadn’t received it.
Tuci sarcastically asked her if she had not received the DoorDash order earlier.
She claimed that she had no idea what he was talking about. Tuci then pointed out to the receptionist that she had seen the woman with the food and that there were cameras in the office.
The DoorDash driver accused her of lying to get free food and putting his job on the line.
The woman denied that she had requested a refund for an order that she had received.
At the end of the two-and-a-half-minute clip, she admitted to receiving the order, but denied requesting the refund.
In the caption, Tuci said that he had warned her that if she did not call DoorDash support and remove the violation from his account, her job would be on the line.
The video gained more than 18 million views, and many viewers praised Tuci for confronting the woman.
DoorDash has not yet commented on the incident.
