Dmitry Glukhovsky, a Russian writer has been put on wanted list waiting to be prosecuted

Dmitry Glukhovsky, a Russian writer, has been charged with spreading false information about the Russian army’s conduct.

The writer has been charged with a felony under Article 280.3 of the Russian Federation’s Criminal Code (“Public acts intended at discrediting the use of the Russian Federation’s Armed Forces”). The investigation began in May.

Glukhovsky had previously been placed on Russia’s wanted list by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Dmitry Glukhovsky is well known for his work Metro 2033, which depicts life in Moscow after a nuclear disaster. In 2005, the book was published and was a commercial success.
