Director criticised George Clooney’s kissing

When a director criticised George Clooney’s kissing technique when he was utilising his “real-life move” for the scene, Clooney was frightened.

The Hollywood hunk said that the embarrassing incident occurred early in his career when he was attempting to shoot a private scene with a co-star and was reprimanded by the director for his actions.

Clooney outlined in a statement to The New York Times: “I recall having to do a kissing sequence with this girl early in my career, and the director told me, “Not like that.” Then I thought, “Dude, that’s my move!” That’s what I really do!”

He continued by drawing parallels between the incident and a sequence in his upcoming film Ticket to Paradise with Julia Roberts in which they portray an ex-couple who do an embarrassing dance in front of their kids.

The actor emphasised that the performance shouldn’t be rehearsed since the actors’ awkward dancing skills would make the picture more realistic.

He stated: “Everyone had ideas on how we should dance, but when everyone had left, we realised that we really had some terrible dancing movements. The sickest aspect is that Julia and I have performed all those manoeuvres before.”

Roberts declared: “It is impossible to choreograph, despite people’s best efforts. Simply open the package and let the magic work.”

Kaitlyn Dever and Maxime Bouttier, the pair’s younger co-stars, were “really scared” by their dancing routines, Clooney further acknowledged, with Roberts adding: “It was ridiculous, they were stunned.”
