Starry Beltway dinner hosted by CAA’s Bryan Lourd for Bono and George Clooney

The Beltway went absolutely bananas for Bono and Clooney.

Before Clooney, U2, and others were honored at the 2022 Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday night, CAA executive Bryan Lourd and his husband Bruce Bozzi toasted Lourd’s longstanding client George Clooney and U2 lead singer Bono at a private dinner in Washington, DC on Friday, we learn.

George and Amal Clooney, Bono and his wife Ali Hewson, Vice President Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff, Clooney’s parents Nick and Nina Clooney, and Honors founder George Stevens Jr. were spotted at the power spot Café Milano.

Also present, according to spies, were cosmetics entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury, CBS Entertainment CEO George Cheeks, and close Clooney friend and former MTV VJ Karen “Duff” Duffy.

The Irish music band U2 was recognized at the glittering celebration.

A witness informed us that the vice president discussed the significance of artists in our culture and history at the restaurant.

On Saturday evening, an Artist’s Dinner was hosted to commemorate this year’s recipients.

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden attended the Kennedy Center Honors, where Amy Grant, Gladys Knight, and Tania León were also honored.

At the awards, George and Amal Clooney sparkled on the red carpet.

Brandi Carlile, Katie Couric, Sheryl Crow, and other celebrities walked the red carpet.

Page Six Style stated that at the main event, Clooney’s “Ticket to Paradise” co-star Julia Roberts elevated the tribute to the actor by wearing a frock emblazoned with photos of their old pal.

Bryan Lourd and Bruce Bozzi arranged a meal for VIPs at the influential Café Milano.

The ballgown included gold frames surrounding photographs of Clooney, 61, taken throughout the years, including a photo of the actor wearing scrubs for his part on “ER” in the early 1990s and another of him as the handyman on the iconic sitcom “The Facts of Life.”

Co-chairman of the CAA Lourd is an emeritus Kennedy Center trustee.
