DC firefighter, 54, attacks, bites, and twerks on ushers trying to expel him

This disturbing incident occurred when a fireman from Washington, DC, twerked on another crew member before punching and biting an usher who was attempting to take him from a Nationals baseball game after he chose the incorrect seat.

A group of ushers challenged Christopher Sullivan, 54, a fireman with DC Fire and EMS, in the stands behind home plate on Tuesday night. Video captured the altercation.

As they attempted to try to remove him from the stands, Sullivan could be seen insulting a pair of ushers by twerking his butt in their direction.

Sullivan became enraged as a third usher came to help and struck him before biting into his arm as a fight broke out.

After the fight’s video went viral, Sullivan, a native of West Virginia, was charged with assault for the event and put on administrative leave. A five-year ban from Nationals Park was also imposed on him.

The clip showed the Nationals Park crowd booing and jeering Sullivan while shouting, “Get out of here!”

When the third usher arrived, he attempted to move Sullivan forward by placing a rigid arm over his back.

Sullivan looked to get incensed by the action because he swung around and started shouting at the usher as he continued to box him along the aisle with his body.

The two continued to proceed along the aisle in this manner for a while until Sullivan abruptly punched the usher in the face.

After avoiding the punch, the usher attempted to hold Sullivan by placing him in a headlock.

Then, when police arrived to disperse the brawl, it was obvious that Sullivan was biting into the usher’s hands and arms.

DC Fire and EMS described Sullivan’s actions as “very unacceptable” in a statement.

According to Fox News, the agency said that “the behaviors shown in the video are utterly inappropriate.” On September 27, 2022, our department received word from the Metropolitan Police that one of our employees had been detained and accused of simple assault. The employee had been placed on paid administrative leave prior to this occurrence awaiting the conclusion of an internal personnel procedure. As our internal investigation into this incident continues, he will continue to be on leave.

Sullivan had already been dismissed from the department a number of years ago before being reinstated, in addition to being on leave at the time of the altercation, according to NBC Washington.

Sullivan’s leave of absence and prior termination are also mysteries.

In an interview with WUSA9, Sullivan said that the ushers were the ones who initiated the confrontation and that he would have easily gone if they hadn’t grabbed hold of him.

“I would have been on my way if he hadn’t communicated with me,” Sullivan claimed.

I can promise you that it is not in his job description for him to put his hands or body on any fans. For the record, the Nationals park employee who is being described as the victim is termed a guest service representative (a nicer name for an usher).

Sullivan said that the sole reason he was sitting near home plate was to locate a buddy who had season tickets close by. He said that when he heckled a Braves player, the ushers surrounded him.
