David Blaine proves his superhuman abilities after dislocating his shoulder during Las Vegas performance

David Blaine, the magician known for his street magic and impressive feats of endurance, dislocated his shoulder during his “In Spades” show at the Resorts World Theater in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

During the stunt, which involves an 80-foot drop into a stack of cardboard boxes in the audience, Blaine had a faulty landing, causing him to land incorrectly and dislocate his shoulder.

He shared a video of several people helping him pop his shoulder back into the socket on his Instagram page.

After a break, he continued the performance.

Blaine, 49, is known for his ability to power through injury and has sustained injuries during his Las Vegas show before.

He nearly blacked out during his underwater breath-holding stunt on Friday and pierced his palm during a trick on December 17.

On his website, Blaine describes his show as having “some of my favorite pieces of magic and interaction with the audience,” and he continues to incorporate new acts.

The show runs only once a month over Fridays and Saturdays, with three upcoming shows listed on his website for April, May, and June.
