Nigerian media personality Daddy Freeze has ridiculed Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the last election, following accusations of rigging.

A witness for Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, claimed that “magic” was performed on Abubakar’s votes at multiple collation centers.

The witness, Ndubuisi Nwobu, suggested that Obi rigged the election in Anambra state.

Results and Testimony at the Presidential Election Tribunal

The Independent Electoral Commission announced that Obi won Anambra state with 584,621 votes, while Abubakar received 9,036 votes and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress secured 5,111 votes.

Nwobu, the Anambra PDP chairman and the party’s state collation agent, testified at the presidential election tribunal.

He alleged that presiding officers did not upload the results after counting the votes.

Nwobu claimed that he was forced to sign the election result sheet at the state collation center despite visiting only a fraction of the polling units on election day.
