Akpororo predicts that Obi will have to spend eight years in court fighting to recover his perceived ‘stolen mandate’ from Tinubu, who was declared the winner of the 2023 general elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Obi’s Rejection of Election Results and Legal Action

Following the INEC declaration, which showed Tinubu securing 8,794,726 votes and Obi finishing third with 6,101,533 votes, the former Governor of Anambra State expressed his dissatisfaction with the outcome and opted to challenge it in court.

Obi aims to reclaim what he believes is his rightful mandate.

Akpororo’s Statement on the Lengthy Legal Battle

During a recent show, Akpororo shared his opinion on the ongoing electoral tribunal, suggesting that Obi will likely spend the next eight years in court attempting to retrieve his alleged stolen mandate.

Using Pidgin language, Akpororo humorously remarked, “Peter Obi still dey go court abi? no worry, that court na eight years him go spend.”
