Czech ambassador defends tennis player’s father and coach for behind-caressing

A young Czech tennis player was supported by the Embassy when her father and coach caressed her behind at the US Open.

The 16-year-old Sara Bejlek has already gained recognition at the US Open thanks to an awkward video of her coach and father patting her butt during the match that went viral.

Both males could be seen stroking her on the behind as the cameras lingered, and her father seemed to be kissing her on the lips, which has sparked fury throughout the US.

The tennis player justified the behaviour by claiming that it was “normal” in her nation.

Dad is and always will be my dad. And since I was eight years old, I’ve known the coach. She said, “He rubs me and records me.

“No one would deal with it if something similar occurred in the Czech Republic,” someone said. However, everyone in America has an opinion about it.

According to a spokesman from the Czech Embassy in Washington, DC, this allegedly horrific incident “hasn’t been a problem in the Czech media at all,” DailyMail.com was informed on Wednesday.

Each family would be different, the spokesman said, adding that it was a “personal matter.” It varies depending on the family.

Despite the fact that the embassy was unable to precisely address whether or not butt patting was a regular practise in the Czech Republic, the young tennis player has already declared that she wouldn’t do it again in response to criticism.

“The whole crew reacted on the spur of the moment.”

We were happy,’ Bejlek told the media.

‘It may undoubtedly appear awkward and uncomfortable to some, but we have previously addressed it with the team. It won’t occur once again.

Even though the event happened in her first qualifying match, it attracted attention shortly before she faced Russian Liudmila Samsonova, who is ranked No. 35 in the world.

She was defeated 6-3, 6-1 in the match.

The 16-year-old Czech won many matches last week, including a remarkable victory against Heather Watson of the UK, to earn a spot in her debut Grand Slam competition.
