The show features a group of adults stripping naked in front of teenagers aged between 14 and 16.

The programme’s aim is to promote body positivity by showing what different bodies look like to help quell people’s insecurities.

The first episode of the six-part series aired on April 4, and the second episode, focused on male bodies and penis size, aired on Tuesday.

Although the full series has not yet been broadcast, some viewers have called for it to be taken off the air.

Viewers complained about the nudity in the programme and the fact that the youth participants were aged 14 to 16.

Conservative MP Jonathan Gullis criticised the show, claiming that adults stripping naked is “not how responsible sex education should happen”.

Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway also said she felt uncomfortable by the “physicality of a stranger being naked in front of a teenager”.

The show is presented by Anna Richardson, former Love Island contestant Dr Alex George and Yinka Bokinni, and is promoted as being “all about body positivity”.

Richardson previously described Naked Education as “educational, emotional [and] joyous”.

In response to criticism, Channel 4’s Chief Content Officer Ian Katz said: “Anyone who suggests that the Channel 4 show Naked Education promotes paedophilia or is abusive of children almost certainly hasn’t watched it”.

It is worth noting that Naked Education is not the first Channel 4 programme to feature nudity, as the channel also airs the dating programme Naked Attraction, which Richardson also hosts.

The programme has previously faced criticism from some viewers who have accused it of being too sexually explicit.

Overall, the programme Naked Education has generated a great deal of controversy since its debut, with some viewers praising it for promoting body positivity and others calling for it to be cancelled due to concerns over the young age of some of the participants.
