Box office King and comedian, Ayo Makun, has addressed the heavy criticism he faced after his recent interview.
The actor discussed his unsuccessful attempt at reconciling with fellow comedians Basketmouth and Julius Agwu, which garnered negative reactions from many.
Ayo took to Instagram to share a photo from the interview with Talk Show host Teju Oyelakin and gave a shout-out to social media magicians.
He expressed his satisfaction in providing boring individuals with something to discuss through an honest and innocent interview.
Ayo Makun Opens Up about Failed Reconciliation with Basketmouth and Julius Agwu
In a noteworthy revelation, Ayo Makun discussed his futile efforts to reconcile with both Julius Agwu and Basketmouth.
He admitted that he no longer intends to pursue reconciliation with them.
Ayo stated that even if he never gets the chance to sit down and exchange greetings with them before his passing, he would be content knowing he made his best attempts.
Ayo Makun Addresses Julius Agwu’s Witch Accusation
During the interview, Ayo Makun also responded to Julius Agwu’s accusation of him being a witch.
Julius had previously mentioned in an interview with Naija 102 FM that Ayo hung up on him when they had a disagreement about their respective Easter Sunday concerts in Lagos.
Julius called Ayo to confront him, but Ayo allegedly ended the call abruptly.
Following this incident, Julius went on stage and referred to Ayo as a witch, claiming that he fell ill afterward.
Ayo expressed his distress upon hearing Julius’ statement and recalled how he and his wife had supported Julius during his health challenges.
