CNN seems to change the dramatic blood-red backdrop of President Joe Biden’s furious “spirit of the nation” speech to a softer shade of pink.

The switch was made in the middle of Biden’s speech on Thursday in Philadelphia, during which he specifically mentioned Trump and described “MAGA Republicans” as a danger to democracy.

Red lighting were shining up the brick structure behind Biden as he spoke in front of Independence Hall.

Many viewers on Twitter started comparing the president to the terrible emperor from Star Wars and the totalitarian chancellor from V for Vendetta as the president screamed against his opponents in front of the crimson backdrop.

The crimson then gradually changed to a gentler pink tint throughout a segment of CNN’s broadcast, where it stayed for the duration of the speech.

Although the background of C-SPAN, CBS, and MSNBC stayed red, the shift appeared to have only happened on CNN.

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee tweeted, “CNN appears to have changed the video of Biden’s speech from demonic red to Pepto-Bismol pink.”

Very useful considering how much Pepto-Bismol we required to get through this!

According to The New York Post, a spokesman for CNN later attributed the hue change to a broadcasting error.

The president denounced Trump specifically for spreading the idea that the 2020 election was rigged while standing on a podium that was lit in ominous red.

In addition, Biden described him and other MAGA Republicans as “extremists that undermine the fundamental basis of our nation.”

Warm applause accompanied Biden throughout his speech, but his night was marred by hecklers who yelled “f*** Joe Biden” and “Let’s Go Brandon,” as well as the fact that the majority of the major news networks did not broadcast his speech live. It was only CNN and MSNBC.

In response, Biden was reminded of his remarks from October 2020, when he said: “Instead of considering each other’s party as the opposition, we treat them as the enemy.”

This statement caused a significant outcry from Republicans who accused him of being divisive. It must end now!

Hje tweeted in November 2020, “We must cease viewing our opponents as adversaries if we want to make progress. We are not enemies.’

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, a Republican, stated: “Joe Biden tonight denigrated millions of Americans in a divisive & enraged speech that was removed from the realities of his political failures.

He simply cares about dividing his fellow Americans; he isn’t truly concerned in saving the essence of the country.

On his Truth Social, Trump promptly responded to the address, writing: “Someone should patiently but passionately explain to Joe Biden that MAGA means, as forcefully as mere words can get, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

He shouldn’t be representing the United States of America if he doesn’t want to Make America Great Again, which is evident from his words, deeds, and thoughts.

If you examine the wording and content of Vice President Biden’s clumsy and irate address from tonight, you will see that he threatened America, possibly even threatening to use force. Either he is mad or has advanced dementia, I think.

He also posted a picture of Biden with his arms raised in the fists, against a backdrop of dark red lighting on the stage, next to a picture of himself kissing the American flag.

In his most blunt criticism of his predecessor to date, Biden slammed Trump by name earlier that evening during a 24-minute speech from Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

“Equality and democracy are under attack,” he declared. We do ourselves no favours by pretending otherwise,’ Biden said at the beginning of his speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

He specifically mentioned Trump, criticising him for falsely claiming that the 2020 election was rigged and castigating Trump’s supporters.

To thunderous cheers from his fans, Biden declared that “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represented extremism that challenges the fundamental underpinnings of our republic.”

There’s no doubt that Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans are dominating, driving, and intimidating the Republican party today, he said, adding that he doesn’t believe every Republican is “extreme” or a threat.

And that is a danger to this nation, he added. “Too much of what’s going on in our nation right now is not normal,”
