On Thursday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Hillary Clinton criticized Senator Ted Cruz.
Clinton stated, “I would have to say Ted Cruz is the everlasting blowhard.”
Cruz responded to Clinton’s comments in a tweet on Friday.
During a visit on a late-night talk show, Hillary Clinton insulted Ted Cruz by labeling him a “blowhard.”
Clinton made the remarks during a Thursday night interview on “Watch What Happens Live”
During the “Plead the Fifth” segment, host Andy Cohen posed the following question to Clinton: “You served as a senator from 2001 to 2009; who is or was the most flamboyant senator?”
Oh, too numerous to count, replied the former secretary of state. “I must say that Ted Cruz is the ultimate blowhard, correct?”
Clinton and Chelsea appeared on the program to promote their new Apple TV+ series, “Gutsy.”

Cruz responded to Clinton in a tweet on Friday with the subject, “This you?” The tweet contained a tape of Clinton speaking a “rematch” with former President Donald Trump with PBS News Hour in 2019.
Clinton has already poked fun at Cruz, particularly after the Republican senator made headlines last year for allegedly abandoning his poodle, Snowflake, in Cancun, Mexico during a terrible winter storm in Texas.
Clinton tweeted at the time, “Do not vote for somebody you would not trust with your dog.”
Cohen also asked the 74-year-old on “Watch What Happens Live” if she had seen various dramatic depictions of her family on television and in cinema, including the 1998 film “Primary Colors.”
Clinton remarked, “I have not watched any of them.” “Having lived it, there is no point in watching it.”
