Chris Dawson drugged and smothered Lynette? Last words

The unmistakable indicators that the murderer Christopher Dawson poisoned his wife before suffocating her: Why Lynette’s unsettling final words are a dead giveaway

American production giant Blumhouse Productions signed a deal with News Corp to turn The Teachers Pet into a TV miniseries in late 2018, TV Tonight reported this week

Lyn Dawson sounded inebriated when she spoke to her mother the night she was murdered.

Lyn’s final words were that Chris had made her a “delicious drink.”

During the murder trial, the underlying suspicion was had Chris drugged her?

Chris gave Lyn alcohol to knock her unconscious so he could have sex with JC Dawson, and he and the babysitter had sex in the family home as Lyn “snored” in an armchair.

Chris Dawson, a convicted murderer, has arrived at Silverwater jail.

The family of Lyn claimed that despite his charm and excellent looks, he was a “monster.”

It was the unstated question at Chris Dawson’s trial that could not be aired publicly prior to his murder conviction: Did the ex-football player spike his wife’s drink the night he murdered her?

During the trial, it was revealed that Dawson frequently mixed her drinks at the family home, causing her to pass out and allowing him to have sex with the schoolgirl babysitter, JC.

Lynette Curtis, a social drinker in her early 30s, was sometimes rendered so incoherent by the alcoholic beverages that she fell asleep while still in her lounge chair.

During the ten-week trial, it was never suggested that the beverages created by Chris Dawson, a lifelong abstainer, and his identical twin brother Paul could have included a sedative.

What was discussed was Lynette Dawson’s odd last discussion with her mother Helena Simms, which was the last time the 33-year-old dedicated mother of two communicated with anyone besides her violent, unfaithful husband.

Helena believed that Lyn sounded intoxicated throughout the discussion, so she informed her mother, “Chris has just made me a delicious drink.”

Whether it was drugged or not, and whether Dawson suffocated his wife or killed her in another manner before thinking how and where he could dispose of her body, Lyn’s heartbreaking final words have taken on a deadly meaning.

When Lynette Dawson told her mother that Chris had given her a “beautiful cocktail” on the night she was murdered, her remarks took on a sinister undertone since she sounded intoxicated.

The trial did not reveal how Chris Dawson murdered his wife, but he may have laced her drink with a sedative and then suffocated the obedient 33-year-old before disposing of her body.

Less than a day after his dramatic murder conviction, untold tales of Lynette Joy Dawson’s tormented but secret existence with her controlling and eventually deadly husband are finally emerging.

Dawson spent his first night in jail in a notoriously filthy cell at the Surry Hills police station, complete with insects, wailing inmates, and walls and floors that must be routinely washed.

Dawson arrived at the expansive Silverwater Correctional Centre in western Sydney just before lunchtime, where he would undergo a strip search, body scan, clothing exchange, and mugshot.

Justice Ian Harrison told the Supreme Court of New South Wales that Dawson had “beyond a reasonable doubt” murdered Lynette, although he could not tell how or where the former PE teacher disposed of Lyn’s body.

Chris Dawson has been transferred to the Silverwater Correctional Centre in western Sydney following his shocking conviction for murder, but will he reveal where Lyn’s body is buried?

Lynette Dawson was beaming on her wedding day in 1970, but she never divulged the fact that her husband was a controlling monster beneath his charming exterior.

His Honor determined that Lyn was murdered on or around January 8, 1982, the day after Dawson went to Northbridge Baths and lied to Lyn’s accepting but perplexed mother about her calling to say she “needed time away.”

Tuesday’s four-and-a-half-hour verdict was delivered orally by Justice Harrison, who revealed the first of several lies.

Due to his charisma and apparent dualism, his lies were believed by Lyn’s family, as stated by relatives as early as the second inquiry into her disappearance in 2003.

Lee Fletcher, the aunt of Lynette Dawson, stated, “He was so handsome, of course you believed him” in response to Carl Milovanovich’s recommendation that a “known person” be charged with Mrs. Dawson’s murder.

Another of Ms. Dawson’s relatives stated, “But behind closed doors, he was a monster, a demanding control freak.”

Greg Simms and Merilyn Simms (above, following the verdict) now want Lyn Dawson’s murderer Chris Dawson to disclose where he disposed of his first wife’s remains.

Paul, the murderer’s twin brother, confronted a television cameraman in Hyde Park after the judgement went against Chris Dawson and Paul fled the courtroom in a rage.

Justice Harrison determined Chris Dawson’s window of opportunity to dispose of Lynette’s body to be between the afternoon of Saturday, January 9, 1982 and Monday, January 11, during which he drove north.

Dawson drove six hours to South west Rocks, north of Port Macquarie, to get his young lover JC, informing her that Lyn had left and she was welcome to move in with him.

In the time, Dawson’s twin brother Paul, his wife Marilyn, and their children were enjoying a caravan holiday at Lake Munmorah, where Chris did not stop en route, according to Paul’s testimony.

If Chris had intended to dispose of Lyn on that drive, he could have stopped at a variety of locations to find a suitable body-dumping site.

Lyn’s dedicated family, led by her brother Greg Simms, his wife Merilyn Simms, and her sister Pat Jenkins, desire an answer to this question.

It remains to be known whether Dawson will ever answer the question from his prison cell.
