Chris Brown praises SA teen: Her voice is amazing

Chris Brown was a popular topic on South African Twitter on Monday, after he posted an Instagram Stories video of a young female South African student demonstrating her vocal skills.

On the video, the young pupil, whom some Twitter users have dubbed “Naledi” (which translates to “star” in English), can be seen singing towards the camera in a packed classroom among her classmates.

Brown wrote in the video’s caption, “Her voice is fantastic.”

“Chris brown uploaded Naledi to his Instagram story,” tweeted @khertym.

The song portrays the suffering of a little girl as she speaks about her father’s persistent sexual abuse. The lyrics to “uBaba Ulala Nami” are from Big Zulu’s most recent studio album, “Ichwane Lenyoka.”

Twitter users have been re-posting the brief film and commenting on how powerful and heartbreaking the lyrics are.

“Her voice is really wonderful,” @pumpum radebe remarked, before adding, “But the song?.”

Big Zulu re-posted the video on his Instagram account with the following caption: “Chris Brown @chrisbrownofficial recognizes a young South African singer for her exceptional voice. In the video he posted on his Instagram story, she performed a song by the popular South African musician and hitmaker Big Zulu.

Abuse of women and children is the most pressing child in South Africa, as expressed in the song.

“Big Zulu is asking South Africans for assistance in locating this incredible talent so that she can be featured on the singer’s music video, which will be a dedication to women and children during the 16 Days of Activism for no Violence against Women and Children, which is held annually from November 25th to December 10th. Let’s keep fighting against this issue.

“Ubaba Ulala Nam” is on the album “Ichwane Lenyoka” by Big Zulu.
