China’s exports grow by 18%

BEIJING, 7th August, 2022 (WAM) — China’s exports grew 18 percent in July from a year earlier, the fastest pace since January 2022, beating analysts’ expectations, while imports rose 2.3 percent, customs data showed on Sunday, according to Reuters.

Trade exchange between China and Russia witnessed a significant increase, totaling 37.1 percent, and China’s exports to the European Union increased by 23.2 percent, while its imports from the European Union decreased by 7.4 percent.

Moreover, China posted a record trade surplus of US$101.26 billion in July.
