Chechen commander wants Russia to attack Poland to “denazify and demilitarise”

Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of the Chechen Republic and a close friend of Russia, has urged Putin’s troops to “denazify and demilitarize” Poland.

What if, following the successful conclusion of the [special military operation], Russia starts to denazify and demilitarize the next country? the Russian native wondered in a Monday rant on the social media platform Telegram. Poland had spent its military resources.

After all, Poland is on the map after Ukraine!

Frankly, I myself have such a goal, and […] the battle against Satanism should continue throughout all of Europe, but especially on Polish soil.

He said that the historically Polish-dominated area of Silesia had “acquired a unique autonomous status” and required a vote so that “Russia may give organizational support.”

Kadyrov is the son of Akhmad Kadyrov, a former president of Chechnya who joined the Russians during the Chechen War at the beginning of Putin’s administration.

The family has tightly allied the country with Russia for more than 20 years.

Chechen leader calls for Russia to invade Poland to 'denazify and demilitarise' the nation

Several Chechen battalions have participated in the Kadyrov-led conflict in Ukraine alongside Russian troops.

Notably, a number of volunteer anti-Kadyrovite battalions have fought alongside Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the conflict, Kadyrov has backed Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, promising that on February 26, 2022, the republic will “follow out [Putin’s] commands under all conditions.”

He instructed military leaders to pound Russia until it surrendered within days, to “close your eyes to everything,” and to end the war “within a day or two.”

He said on Tuesday that the so-called special military operation will conclude by the end of the year, almost a year after the conflict began.

European nations will have to collaborate with the Russian Federation in all fields as normal, they will be forced to confess they were wrong, and the West will be brought to its knees.

Kadyrov has shown himself to be a devoted supporter of Putin, mimicking his anti-Western rallies.

The Chechen warlord has, however, also sometimes presented a risk to Russia.

He supported “wiping out” Ukrainian cities during the conflict.

Kadyrov has been accused of violating human rights and persecuting LGBT persons in the republic during his time as president and has oppressed his own people.

He gained notoriety in the West before to the war for his remarks endorsing the murder of homosexual persons in honor.

We don’t have such individuals here, he said. We have no homosexual people here.

In 2017, footage surfaced of LGBT men being held and tortured in Chechen prisons.

With Putin’s support, Kadyrov won 99.7% of the vote and promised to “defend human rights” in his inaugural speech in 2021 for his fourth term.

Within a year, he said that his “time [had] arrived” and made a resignation suggestion.

Additionally, the 2016 leader said that “my time has gone” and made a suggestion that a replacement had been found.

Even if the controversial leader wanted to resign, observers like Putin would be afraid of the potential escalation into a new Chechen conflict.
