Car strikes four guys in Chicago

On Chicago’s South Side, a car struck four guys, leaving three of them dead and one wounded.

On Sunday morning about 5 am, the event took place close to Jackson Park.

The Chicago Tribune was informed by a spokeswoman for the Chicago Fire Department that investigators think the collision was planned.

Dashcam video captured the incident, which seemed to be a confrontation between a group of people who were standing in the road prior.

Before it is spotted, the silver or white sedan’s engines can be heard revving as it barrels at the group.

One guy, wearing a blue sweatshirt, is thrown to one side, lying on the road and is seen to be moving.

The other three are launched into the air and propelled swiftly several hundred feet.

When they arrived at the University of Chicago hospital, they were declared dead.

The victim was brought to Stroger hospital, where it was unclear what condition he was in.

According to police, there may have been a fifth victim who was hit and transported in a private car to the hospital.
