The news that socialite Libbie Mugrabi was accused with threatening her domestic with a knife appears to have sparked a wave of mensch-on-mensch competition among others who also have a home staff.

According to reports, Bushnell’s 64th birthday was celebrated for the second time. On her real birthday, December 1, the author of “Sex and the City” reportedly spent a private meal at the new London import, which has replaced Le Cirque.

On Thursday, however, she and publicist Anna Rothschild hosted a larger soiree, beginning with a seated dinner for 20 guests that included former “Real Housewives of New York City” star Ramona Singer, socialite and philanthropist Jean Shafiroff, Grimanesa Amoros, Patty Raynes, Laurie Durning, newlyweds Danny Baker Jr. and Petra Khasaghi, and others.
From across the room, Cuba Gooding Jr. and his longtime lady friend Claudine DeNiro were observed on what appeared to be a business dinner date. She stated, “For the record, I am not at this restaurant because of Rothschild,” who is the upscale eatery’s new publicist.
Ramona Singer, a former “Real Housewives of New York City” star, attended Bushnell’s celebration.
Later, the party went to the grand opening of The Shanghai, the restaurant’s late night lounge, where “My Unorthodox Life” star Julia Haart arrived alone while Singer ordered vodka sodas.
And despite Rothschild’s absence, De Niro and Gooding Jr. were in the lounge discussing his new technology venture, VEUIT.
The celebration concluded at midnight with birthday cake.
