Britney Spears accused Alyssa Milano of “bullying” after Milano questioned the pop star’s health in a tweet.
Spears, who just had a police welfare check after fans similarly expressed fears for her safety, turned to Instagram Stories on Tuesday night to call out Milano.
“It pains me to read about myself from individuals who don’t know me!!! This feels like a kind of bullying,” the “Gimme More” singer wrote over a screenshot of the former “Charmed” star’s tweet from December 20.
“Ladies, we are supposed to be cheering each other on, not tearing each other down!!!” Spears was included.
The tweet from Milano stated, “Someone please check on Britney Spears.”
The 50-year-old “Melrose Place” alum has not yet responded to the Grammy winner’s remarks.

Spears’ reaction arrives just days after she was compelled to justify her choice to temporarily delete her Instagram account, stating she was not “going through a breakdown.”
Since everyone believes they already know my tale. THINK AGAIN !!! A simple side of any given SUNDAY does not demonstrate worship by making someone’s tale public… it’s a day of WELCOMING… not a righteous response!!!” she said in a lengthy Sunday description.
“It is how it is… No, I’m not suffering a nervous breakdown… I am who I am and progressing in life. I have never felt better !!!”
The tweet was published after police conducted a wellness check at the “Crossroads” star’s California home in January in response to 911 calls from concerned fans.
Several Spears supporters took to TikTok to voice their concerns, with one even livestreaming his call to the police.
A few days prior to deleting her Instagram account, the celebrity entertainer posted a mysterious message on the social media platform, alluding to the difficulties she had to confront.
She commented, in part, “Sucks to be me” before adding, “Giving someone I love my everything only leaves me with a dagger in my heart!!!”
Some admirers suggested that the mysterious caption may have been about Spears’ estranged husband Sam Asghari, who reportedly left her during a recent dinner after crowds invaded their privacy.
Asghari was quick to dispel the rumors, commenting on his Instagram Story, “Don’t believe what you read online, folks.”
