Phoebe Dynevor threw a bombshell when she said she would not be returning for the third season of the Netflix blockbuster series Bridgeron.
Phoebe Dynevor portrayed Daphne Bridgerton in the popular Netflix series Bridgerton. Phoebe was the lead actress in the first season of the series, which centered on her romance with Simon Bassett, portrayed by Regé-Jean Page.
The second season of the show centered on the convoluted love story of Daphne’s brother Antony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey) and leading lady Kate Sharma (played by Simone Ashley).
When Lady Whistledown announced that Regé-Jean would not return for season two, hearts were crushed all across the world.
This season, the series focuses on Daphne’s younger brother Colin (played by Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan).
The third season of ‘Bridgerton’ will focus on the romantic relationship between Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicole Coughlan).
“Unfortunately not in season 3.” Possibly in the near future. However, I’m excited to see Season 3 as a viewer,” she told Screen Rant.
Phoebe continued by stating that she had finished two seasons. She also suggested she would return if invited in the future.
“Well, I’ve completed my two seasons,” she told Variety.
“I’ve accomplished my goals for that character, and she had an excellent arc. Who knows if they ask me back in the future?” She persisted.
