Boris Becker resumes work as an Australian Open analyst

Boris Becker will return as a consultant for Eurosport for the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the season, the sports television network announced on Tuesday, a month after his release from prison.

“I am thrilled that Boris Becker will be rejoining our Eurosport team for the Australian Open,” said Jochen Gundel, one of the managers of Warner. Bros. Discovery’s German division.

Boris has been a key part of Eurosport’s tennis coverage since 2017.

BORIS BECKER IS A WINNER OF SIX GRAND SLAMS.
The six-time Grand Slam champion from Germany was released from prison in England last month after spending eight months of a two-and-a-half-year sentence for violating insolvency regulations.

Becker was found guilty of concealing £2,500,000 in assets and loans in order to avoid paying debts.

His attorney claimed that Becker, who is now 55 years old, had “served his term” and was “no longer subject to criminal limitations in Germany.”

Boris Becker will appear daily on Eurosport following the night sessions of the Australian Open beginning on January 16.
