Eve Hewson, the daughter of Bono, poked fun at her status as a “nepotism baby” amid controversy, joking that she is not yet “successful enough” for the label.
Last week, after New York magazine published a popular article about nepotism in Hollywood, the 31-year-old actress tweeted that she was “very disappointed” not to have been featured.
“Have they not watched my popular show Bad Sisters?” She wrote about her Apple TV+ series on Tuesday. “The COURAGE.”
After stating that one of her “2023 objectives” is to “be successful enough to be recognized as a nepotism baby,” a Twitter user pointed out that Hewson is featured in the article’s “musicians who reared actors” section.
The star of “This Must Be the Place” then tweeted, “HOLY FORK!” “I JUST LEARNED THAT I MET MY 2023 GOALS, BUT IT’S STILL 2022.”
Four days later, Hewson urged “Twitter bots and girlos” to have a “sense of humor” and not take her tweets “too seriously” as opposed to labeling her a “spoiled brat.”
Saturday afternoon, she continued, “Try to be kind.” There is a need for more kindness in the world.
Hewson also acknowledged the “advantage” she and her brothers Jordan, 33, Elijah, 23, and John, 21 enjoy as children of the 62-year-old U2 lead singer.
