During the search for the missing retired schoolteacher, a body was discovered. On August 11, Peter Coshan, 75, went missing from Leith, Edinburgh. Today, police discovered a body near the village of Kirkwhelpington, Northumberland.

Formal identification has not yet occurred, although the former teacher’s family is aware.
Two guys have been charged with Mr. Coshan’s murder.

Police have discovered a body while probing the murder of a 75-year-old retired teacher from Sir Tony Blair’s previous school.

Prior to his retirement, Dr. Peter Coshan taught biology at a private school in Edinburgh. He was last seen on August 11 in the Seafield Road neighborhood of Leith in the Scottish city.

Today, police investigators investigating the crime discovered the bones of a man on the A696 near the Northumberland village of Kirkwhelpington.

The body has not yet been officially recognized, but the family of Mr. Coshan has been contacted.

Two guys have been charged with Mr. Coshan’s murder.

Paul Black, also known as Joseph Hillary, aged 63, and Paul McNaughton, aged 27, have both been charged with the murder of Mr. Coshan.

Black and McNaughton appeared in Edinburgh Sheriff Court on August 18, charged with theft and attempting to subvert the course of justice.

This Monday, police began scouring the wooded area between Kirkwhelpington and Belsay in the north of England for the body of a retired teacher.

Between 1972 and 2005, Mr Coshan taught at the renowned Fettes College. He began teaching at the famous school a year after former Prime Minister Tony Blair, who attended from 1966 to 1971, began his studies there.

They did not enter a plea when they appeared in private before the judge.

Detective Superintendent Andrew Patrick of Police Scotland’s major investigations unit stated, ‘Our thoughts continue to be with Peter’s family during this terribly terrible time, and we continue to offer them support.
