The board is made up of distinguished legal academics from top universities in India and overseas, including those in the USA, UK, Germany, Canada, South Korea, and Australia. The University can connect with ideas being developed in the top institutions in India and worldwide through the board.

to seek the opinions of top thinkers about the academic objectives of the university. An international advisory board has been established by BML Munjal University (BMU), a Hero initiative, to work with some of the world’s top legal minds.

It demonstrates the School of Law’s dedication to introducing the world’s finest practises to India. This programme gives the university a global perspective that perfectly complements BMU’s motto, From Here to the World.

The board members will provide direction and aid in achieving BMU’s goal of offering education that meets the highest international standards. Leading legal academics from a variety of nations make up the board, including those from South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Europe, Australia, Canada, and Brazil.

Another advisory committee for the school already exists and is composed of eminent senior attorneys, former justices of the Indian Supreme Court, and founding members of the top law firms in India.

Academia Sinica Taiwan, Humboldt University Berlin, University of Melbourne, Oxford, University College London, Osgoode Hall, National Law School Bangalore, Yale, Yonsei University Seoul, and Universidade Federal do Rio de Janerio are just a few of the institutions represented on the board.

Indian law is a topic that interests several of the board members who are academics. For instance, Prof. Philipp Dann is the director of various Indo-European collaborations, Prof. Tarunabh Khaitan from Oxford and Prof. Farrah Ahmed from Melbourne have made substantial contributions to Indian Constitutional Law, Prof. Dev Ganjee is a world authority on Intellectual Property Law, and Dr. Rohit De is a well-known legal historian who specialises on India.

Some members of the board are founding editors of the prestigious journal Indian Law Review.On the announcement, Prof. Pritam Baruah, Dean, School of Law, BMU, said, “BMU aims to provide higher education of the best international standards and keeping this in mind, the International Advisory Board was formed to bring together the expertise of an international group of academics along with our existing advisory council of leading law professionals. We are excited to work with the distinguished board and learn from their rich experience. We believe this initiative will also result in attracting faculty with international experience and qualifications to the university.”
