Blue Ivy performs alongside her mother Beyoncé for the first time in five years

The return of Beyoncé to the stage was a family affair.

Saturday night in Dubai, Blue Ivy joined her mother on stage during her performance at the launch of the Atlantis The Royal hotel.

Blue Ivy debuted during “Brown Skin Girl,” according to a source. She appeared mature in a red dress and microphone, but she did not sing.

Beyoncé also informed the audience that her husband Jay-Z, her parents Tina and Mathew Knowles, and her 5-year-old twins Rumi and Sir were present.

During the two-hour-and-fifteen-minute performance, which reportedly began nearly an hour late, spectators were required to place their phones in pouches and were punished by security if they were caught taking photos without permission.

A source told Page Six that despite the delay and severe cell phone limitations, the 41-year-old “looked like a goddess” and “sounded perfect.”

She began her performance with Etta James’ “At Last” and played favorites such as “Beautiful Liar,” “Halo,” and “Crazy in Love.” However, we are informed that she did not perform anything new.

Beyoncé has not headlined a live performance in nearly five years, her last being the Global Citizen Festival in December 2018 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Dubai performance follows the release of her seventh album, “Renaissance,” which included the singles “Cuff It” and “Break My Soul.”

In September 2022, Page Six announced exclusively that Beyoncé will tour with “Renaissance” this summer.

A source informed us at the time that the singer was in the process of scheduling stadiums across the globe, similar to her 2016 “Formation” world tour and her 2014 and 2018 “On the Run” tours with husband Jay-Z.

Beyoncé has hinted at the release of additional songs by describing “Renaissance” as the first installment of a “three-act project” that was completed during the COVID-19 epidemic.

However, it is unknown what the second and third acts will be.

In June 2022, she commented on Instagram, “Creating [Renaissance] gave me a place to escape and dream during a frightening time in the world.” It helped me to feel liberated and daring during a period when little else was in motion.

A collaboration with Britney Spears, however, is something that fans can bet on.

Multiple sources told Page Six in an exclusive report earlier this month that Beyoncé requested Spears’ participation in a new music video, but the collaboration ultimately fell through.
