Shelton, who has been a constant on the show, said in a statement, “I’ve been wrestling with this for a while, and I’ve decided it’s time for me to leave ‘The Voice’ after season 23.

This show has improved every aspect of my life, and it will always feel like home to me.

It’s been a wild 12 years of chair turns, and I’d like to thank everyone at NBC’s “The Voice” — every producer, writer, musician, crew member, and caterer — for being the best.”

He said, “I have to give a huge shout-out to the singers – the ‘Voices’ who perform season after season and amaze us with their talent, and a special thanks to those who chose me as their coach.

“Finally, it’s about you, the fans, who watch and encourage these artists, the coaches, and everyone at ‘The Voice’ to pursue their dreams. It would not be possible without you!”

On his final season of the show, Shelton will be joined by Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, and Chance the Rapper.

Cabello, who is starring on the show alongside Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend, admitted that she thoroughly enjoyed performing alongside them.

The brunette beauty, who rose to fame as a member of Fifth Harmony, stated, “They’re such incredible musicians that I’m almost embarrassed that they performed my song. However, it was very cool!”
