Billionaire bodybuilder Jeff Bezos gives a shout out to McDonald’s – his first employer

While enjoying fast food over the weekend, billionaire Jeff Bezos paid tribute to McDonald’s, his first place of employment.

The 58-year-old founder of Amazon posted a picture of himself enjoying a burger on Twitter.

“My first job,” tweeted Bezos. And the fantastic burger is still there. Sunday greetings!

Bezos, who is now among the richest people in the world and has an estimated net worth of $153.8 billion, worked at McDonald’s flipping burgers while he was a high school student.

In a prior interview, Bezos said that his experience as a high school student working the McDonald’s grill in the 1980s taught him that providing good customer service was “very hard.”

The billionaire, who left his position as CEO of Amazon in 2021, is still the organization’s executive chairman.

One of the richest people in the world, Jeff Bezos, 58, uploaded a picture of himself over the weekend enjoying a hamburger from McDonald’s, which was also his first job.

I used to cook. Bezos said, “They wouldn’t allow me anywhere near the consumers. “This was my adolescent acne period.” Why don’t you work in the rear, they questioned.

In a 2018 interview with Fast Company, Bezos discussed his first employment as a cook at a McDonald’s in Miami.

I can break eggs with one hand, which is one of the fantastic abilities I inherited from that work, said Bezos. “The Saturday morning shift was my favorite.” I would buy a large bowl and break 300 eggs into it as a first step.

When Bezos was a high school student in Miami in the 1980s, he worked at McDonald’s flipping burgers when he was 16 years old. He claims that this employment taught him that customer service was “very hard.”

When Jeff Bezos was 16 years old, he started working the McDonald’s grill.

McDonalds committed the worst business error ever by letting teenage Bezos depart rather than providing him the CEO position.

Bezos ($185 billion) can now purchase McDonald’s ($170 billion) and still have enough cash to pay each American $1 million.

He said, “One of the most exciting things about working at McDonald’s is to become incredibly quick at all of this.”

“See how many eggs you can break in a row without getting any shell inside of them.”

Bezos advised youth to “always keep your eyes open for things to learn at any work, even if it’s just flipping hamburgers.”

In the book “Golden Opportunity: Remarkable Careers That Began at McDonald’s,” he said, “You can learn responsibility in any profession, provided you take it seriously.”

Working at McDonald’s as a teenager teaches you a lot, he claimed. “It’s not what you learn in school,” someone said. Don’t undervalue the importance of it!

How Jeff Bezos became the third wealthiest man in the world worth $140billion

Bezos, who was raised in modest circumstances and was born in 1964, studied engineering in college and spent his early career in finance and technology.

It was a wise combination, since in 1993 he had his “eureka” moment and began selling books via this brand-new technology known as “the Internet.”

He convinced friends and relatives to make investments while cautioning them that his firm had a 70% chance of failing.

But his new company, which he called Amazon, was a success.

When Amazon’s IPO garnered $54 million in 1997, Bezos earned his first million dollars (IPO).

He started selling other consumer products in 1998 after branching out beyond only books.

He began buying up more businesses, and the enterprise expanded quickly as it rose to fame and threatened to supplant established high-street retailers.

The arrival of the Coronavirus epidemic was what made Jeff Bezos one of the world’s wealthiest people.

Half of the globe flocked to Amazon to get their items when businesses were closed and governments throughout the world were under lockdown.

In 2020, Jeff Bezos’ fortune almost doubled, reaching a high of more than $200 billion.
