Biden and his grandson Beau and son Hunter arrive back in Washington, D.C.

President Joe Biden assisted his grandson Beau off Air Force One as the Biden family returned to Washington, D.C. on Tuesday afternoon following a weeklong vacation on Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

But one person was absent: first lady Jill Biden, who tested positive for covid and stayed in South Carolina to remain in isolation.

The president assisted his two-year-old grandson down the steps of the presidential jet while holding his grandson’s hand. After being identified as a “close contact” of the first lady, Biden donned a face mask in accordance with CDC protocols.

Biden informed reporters that his wife is doing well. Tuesday, he reportedly tested negative for covid, according to the White House.

According to the White House, Biden will wear a mask for 10 days while he is inside and in close proximity to other individuals. Additionally, his testing frequency will be increased.

The president is now recuperating from covid. On July 21, Biden, 79, initially tested positive for covid. Later, on July 30, he contracted a rebound case, sending him back into seclusion until August 7, when he tested negative once again.

Hunter Biden, the president’s son, and his wife Melissa Cohen both donned face masks as they deplaned and walked onto the Joint Base Andrews airstrip. They rode back to the White House in the presidential limousine known as the Beast with President Biden and Beau. Biden will adhere to his Tuesday plan and sign the Inflation Reduction Act at the White House before traveling to Wilmington, Delaware for a few more vacation days on Tuesday evening.

The House approved the law on a party-line vote on Friday, 220-207, after it narrowly cleared the Senate on Tuesday, 51-50, with all Democrats and Vice President Kamala Harris voting for it under the reconciliation procedure, which shielded it from a Republican filibuster.

It is one of Biden’s greatest legislative accomplishments, and he will conduct a celebration gathering at the White House on September 6 after signing it on Tuesday afternoon.

Soon, he will return on the road to promote the measure and give Democrats a boost as they attempt to retain control of the House and Senate in the November midterm elections.

Biden has not yet made a statement about the raid at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, the other major event of the previous week.

The White House has said that the president learned about the raid just after it was conducted and has not discussed it with Attorney General Merrick Garland. According to Garland, he personally ordered the raid.

Trump has said that he is the victim. Monday, he frequently criticized the Department of Justice and the FBI for “attacking a political opponent.”

Several Republicans have joined the former president in his anger.

Senator Ted Cruz, a Republican from Texas, made the baseless assertion that Vice President Joe Biden is “undermining the peaceful transition of power” in relation to the FBI’s investigation of Trump’s Palm Beach property.

In addition, he blasted Garland for accepting the FBI agents’ request to get a warrant for the operation, which was subsequently granted by a federal court.

Cruz joined a lengthy number of Republicans in slamming the Biden administration over the raid on Monday, during a recording of ‘The Verdict with Ted Cruz’ he called the action ‘completely unprecedented.’

Since George Washington, federal law enforcement authorities have never raided the residence of a former president, according to the Texas conservative.

This has never occurred, in large part because we are a nation with a heritage of peaceful transition of power.

FBI officials seized 11 sets of classified papers, pictures, and other data marked ‘top secret’ during Monday’s search on Trump’s Florida property.Senator Ted Cruz said during a taping of his podcast that the Biden administration is guilty of an 'abuse of power' over the FBI's unannounced search of Mar-a-LagoFirst Lady Jill Biden tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday morning after a negative test Tuesday and while wrapping up a family beach vacation. According to the federal warrant, FBI investigators seized a total of 27 document boxes.

The raid on Monday was part of an ongoing inquiry into the records that Trump took with him when he left the White House.

In accordance with the Presidential Records Act, these records must be transferred to the National Archives and Records Administration at the conclusion of each administration.

The statute designated all presidential and vice-presidential documents as federal property, with ‘custody, management, and preservation’ handed to the National Archives upon a president’s departure from office.

This year, Trump returned 15 cartons to the Archives. On Monday, however, agents conducted a daylong search of storage spaces at Mar-a-Lago and Trump’s personal house, taking more materials.
