Beyoncé and Britney Spears to collaborate after series of planning

Beyonce nearly destroyed the internet once more.

The singer requested Britney Spears to be in a new song video, but the project ultimately failed, multiple sources exclusively told Page Six.

The reason the plan failed is unknown.

Our pleas for response from the singers’ representatives went unanswered.

Spears and Beyoncé, both 41, have previously collaborated.

The group sang the Queen song “We Will Rock You” in a Pepsi commercial in 2004 alongside Pink, another popular musician. The enduring advertisement with a gladiator theme also included Enrique Iglesias.

Since her contentious 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021, the “Toxic” singer’s second music-related project would have been the collaboration with Queen Bey.

Spears made her eagerly awaited comeback in August 2022 with the release of their duet, “Hold Me Closer,” with Elton John. Spears’ first top 10 hit in ten years, the bouncy rendition of the renowned Piano Man’s classic “Tiny Dancer,” premiered at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Last year, Beyoncé also released brand-new music. In July, her dance album “Renaissance” topped the Billboard 200 chart and received a record-breaking nine Grammy nominations.

The singer of “Love on Top,” who has gained notoriety for her ground-breaking visual albums like “Lemonade” from 2016, has not yet released any music videos to support “Renaissance.”

However, Page Six exclusively revealed in September of last year that Beyoncé was preparing a stadium tour for the summer of 2023.
