After an on-set incident involving a cast member, Michael Mando, known for his role in “Better Call Saul,” has been fired from the Apple TV+ crime drama series “Sinking Spring.”

In his place, Wagner Moura, known for his role in “Narcos,” has been cast as the lead alongside Brian Tyree Henry. The series, based on Dennis Tafoya’s book “Dope Thief,” is an eight-episode series set in Philadelphia about long-time friends who pretend to be DEA agents to rob a house in the countryside, only to uncover the biggest narcotics corridor on the Eastern seaboard.

Moura will play Manny Cespedes, a friend of Ray’s (Henry) whom he met while they were in the Youth Authority. The series is directed and executive produced by Ridley Scott and written by Peter Craig, with Tafoya serving as a consulting producer.
