Best pilot of Ukraine Air Force killed under unknown circumstances

One of the finest pilots in the Ukrainian Air Force, Anton Listopad, was killed in Ukraine. His death was announced on the social media website of his alma mater, the Physics and Technology Lyceum of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council.

According to Voyennoye Obozreniye (Military Review), the circumstances surrounding his death are unknown.

According to reports, Listopad’s plane was shot down during an air fight. Anton Listopad might possibly be killed if the airport is attacked.

Earlier reports indicated that Listopad and a number of other pilots were trained to fly the American F-16 jets that Kyiv wants to acquire.

In 2005, Listopad enrolled at the Ivano-Frankivsk Lyceum; he graduated three years later. He graduated from the Kozhedub Kharkiv Air Force University in 2018.

The pilot subsequently traveled to the Donbass to fight against the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic.

A year after graduating, Listopad was named the best pilot in the Ukrainian Air Force.
